I can vouch that these work without an issue for most softwares, although for certain ones it might be hard to read (depends how coded).

Right now im having issues with the taskbar on red version for some reason.

It used to work perfectly, but i must have disabled something by accident.

Just installed the blue one, all it did was remove my task bar, nothing else changed.

EDIT: never mind, its actually a program you have to configure.

Theres also choosable settings to choose other variations there are.

Alright so I tried to install the green one yesterday and my pc fucked up so badly that it wouldnt boot up properly even in safe mode.

I realised some of my icons on the taskbar went missing, so I removed it and deleted it.

I installed the orange one, so disappointing the colour depth is no where near as good as those edited screen shots would suggest it removed folders I had pined to my task bar and every window had DARKMATTER: SOLAR FLAIR written on it, it looked tacky as all hell.

I used this software to change my logon background and it works so well (only for win 7).
